NUOENWEI Clip-profile high-temp hose is a heavy-duty flexible fabric duct built for one of the most punishing combinations in industrial ventilation: continuous high temperature and sustained negative pressure. Conventional fabric ducts collapse, delaminate, or leak when a suction fan pulls against a hot fume stream. The clip-profile iron-clamp construction changes that dynamic. A continuous steel band is mechanically crimped over the fabric wall, forming a rigid spiral skeleton that holds the duct open under vacuum while sealing the fabric-to-metal interface against hot gas escape.
Rated for 400°C to 800°C and available in 200 mm to 800 mm inner diameter with fully customizable lengths, this duct is intended for furnace fume extraction, foundry exhaust, steel-mill suction lines, and other negative-pressure hot-gas routes where a standard high-temp hose would fail within weeks. The product is positioned as the high-temperature extension of NUOENWEI’s clamped fabric duct range, sharing the same iron-clamp reinforcement logic with a construction upgraded for the 400–800°C band.
The NUOENWEI Clip-profile high-temp hose is a negative-pressure iron-clamp fabric duct engineered for 400°C to 800°C fume extraction. Its clip-profile steel spiral is mechanically clamped over the fabric wall, keeping the duct open under suction while resisting heat, abrasion, and spark impact. Available in 200 mm to 800 mm inner diameter with custom lengths, it is built for furnace, foundry, steel-mill, and other high-temperature exhaust routes where standard fabric ducts collapse or degrade.

A temperature ceiling that changes what fabric ducting can be used for. Most clamped fabric ducts top out at 300°C. The NUOENWEI Clip-profile high-temp hose is rated from 400°C to 800°C, which moves it out of the warm-air and light-exhaust category and into furnace fume, foundry off-gas, and high-temperature suction service. The 400°C floor is not a marginal improvement — it is the threshold where standard silicone-coated and glass-fabric constructions begin to degrade, and 800°C covers intermittent peaks that would destroy a conventional hose in a single heat cycle.
The clip-profile iron clamp is the structural answer to negative pressure. A fabric duct under suction is in a fundamentally different stress state than one under positive pressure. The clip-profile steel band spirals around the fabric and is mechanically clamped onto it, creating a continuous external skeleton that resists inward collapse. This is why the duct can maintain an open bore under vacuum rather than flattening the moment the extractor fan starts. The clamp mechanism also doubles as external wear protection at the spiral crowns, where abrasion from sparks, scale, and contact with steel structures is concentrated.
200 mm to 800 mm ID covers the large-diameter suction runs that small clip hoses cannot. General-purpose clip-profile hoses are typically available up to around 300–400 mm. The NUOENWEI product extends the format to 800 mm, which is the size range required for foundry hood connections, furnace extraction mains, and high-volume dilution-air routes. At the same time, 200 mm remains available for branch lines and equipment-level connections, so a single product family can serve both the main suction trunk and the final connection to the hood or fan inlet.
Custom lengths eliminate the compromises of fixed-length supply. High-temperature negative-pressure runs rarely fit a standard 3 m or 6 m coil. The duct is built to the specified length, which reduces the number of clamped joints in the run. Fewer joints mean fewer potential leak paths — a meaningful advantage when the gas being extracted is hot enough to be a safety concern if it escapes at a connection.
Flexibility and compressibility without sacrificing vacuum integrity. The clip-profile construction preserves the bendability of a fabric duct while adding the hoop strength of a steel spiral. The duct can be routed around obstructions, bent through the radii required by the installation layout, and compressed for transport and storage. The spiral protects the fabric at the bend, where a conventional fabric duct would crease and eventually fail.
Furnace and oven fume extraction. Furnaces, heat-treatment ovens, and kilns produce hot exhaust that must be captured at the source and pulled away under negative pressure. The 400–800°C rating and the clip-profile vacuum resistance make this duct suitable for the extraction connection between the furnace hood or outlet and the exhaust fan or scrubber. In clip-profile high-temperature hose applications, furnace and oven extraction is consistently listed among the primary use cases alongside smelting and ceramics.
Foundry exhaust and casting shop ventilation. Foundries combine high radiant heat, sparks, and particulate with a need for suction ventilation at the mold line and pouring station. The iron-clamp spiral provides external protection at the fabric surface where spark impingement and abrasion are most severe, while the fabric wall keeps the duct lightweight enough to be routed overhead or around casting equipment. NUOENWEI’s existing clamped high-temperature duct range is already used in foundry-furnace fume extraction contexts, and the 400–800°C version extends that capability to hotter process points.
Steel mill and heavy-industry suction lines. Iron and steel works, aluminium mills, and smelting operations generate hot fume and gas streams that are difficult to route in rigid ductwork. The flexible clip-profile format allows the duct to follow crane movements and equipment layouts without the need for expansion joints or complex steel fabrication. Industry datasheets for comparable ultra-high-temperature fabric ducts list “iron and steel works” and “fume exhaust systems where a negative pressure system is incorporated” as standard applications.
High-temperature fume recovery and heat shielding. Not every installation is a straight exhaust run. The duct can serve as a flexible connection in fume-recovery systems, as a heat-shield or compensator element around hot equipment, and as a transition between a fixed extraction hood and a moving or vibrating fan inlet. The clip-profile spiral keeps the bore open through offsets and bends in these non-linear layouts.
Engine and industrial test-bed exhaust. High-performance engine test cells and industrial test benches produce short-duration, very-high-temperature exhaust pulses. The 800°C upper rating provides headroom for peak exhaust temperatures that would exceed the continuous limit of a lower-rated duct. When exhaust leakage is a concern, a negative-pressure fan system is the recommended configuration — which is exactly the duty this duct is built for.
